Sleep Tight, Little Bear

Leaves are falling from the trees, the evenings are getting chillier and Little Bear shivers with cold. So Mama Bear knows the time has come for the winter sleep. But first Little Bear wants to wish a good night to his friends in the forest like the kind foxes, the mean owl, the busy squirrel or the old grey wolf. When Little Bear finally curls up in the den, his eyes keep on closing. But before he sinks into a deep and sound sleep, Mother Bear has to promise him that she will always be at his side …

Britta Teckentrup’s art gives this classical children’s book topic a new face – with great warmth though without soppiness. And the last page of the book equips adults with all the relevant information about the hibernation of forest animals.
