What if the fog takes you—and never lets you go?
Sixteen-year-old Runa is drawn deeper into a whirlpool of fear,
deception, and ancient secrets. In her remote village, the dense
fog harbors a deadly ritual: it claims the young, then retreats,
leaving life to continue—but only for those who return.
Runa fears she might be next. What truly happened to her sister?
Why do some who return from the fog seem changed, haunted,
while others vanish without a trace?
Determined to uncover the truth, Runa joins forces with seventeenyear-
old Gero. Their journey leads them into a mystical parallel
world, where they not only confront the origin of the fog but also
face the shadows of their own pasts and the dark secrets buried
within their village.
Courage will be tested. Friendships will be strained. And a love that
dares to endure even in the darkest of times.
The haunting atmosphere is beautifully brought to life through the
art of Ulrike Möltgen. This gripping mystery-fantasy novel weaves
together themes of fear, friendship, and a love that refuses to fade.
