When Little Hare dismissed the Captain

Little Hare, Matt Bear and their friends have decided to turn their backs on the forest and to emigrate to Majorca. Downstream they go, sailing with their raft, towards the sea and adventures unknown. Andrea Hensgen’s new „Little Hare“ novel is another clever, gripping story about courage, cowardice and the true price of friendship.

With great sympathy Little Hare’s second adventure tells us about the tribulations of growing up, and how it often involves taking painful decisions and responsibilities.

Poulette, who wants to get away from her home, asks Little Hare and his friends for a ride on their raft. But this time Matt Bear, to whom Little Hare owes his own freedom, refuses to give her shelter. So in order to help Poulette Little Hare has no choice but to take control of the raft himself. But he finds to his dismay that the other animal kids are not willing to accept him as their captain.
