The author:

Judith Allert, born in 1982, studied modern German Literature in Bayreuth and published her first children‘s books during this time. Today
she lives with her husband, dogs, cats, horses and Woolly pigs (!) on an old farm out in the sticks, where she can think up new stories while weeding.

The illustrator:

Joëlle Tourlonias, born in Hanau in 1985, studied Visual Communications at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, focussing on illustration and painting. She has been self-employed since 2009 – drawing, painting, living and loving in the countryside.
